profile picture of Thomas W. ReavleyThomas W. Reavley serves as a neutral arbitrator in a broad range of commercial disputes, with a heavy emphasis on oil, gas and energy matters. For the past twenty years he has limited his practice to arbitration and mediation, and for the most recent ten years, almost exclusively to arbitration. Prior to becoming a ADR professional he practiced commercial trial law for nineteen years. During most of that time he represented oil companies (both major and independent), pipelines, mineral owners and investors in a wide variety of disputes related to the oil and gas industry.

Mr. Reavley has served as an arbitrator and mediator in over 450 cases. He has served as the chair and neutral panel member in arbitration matters involving nine-figure disputes between large international companies and between major oil companies and a state government.

He is a Member of the National Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, Energy, Oil and Gas Panel and Texas At Large ADR Panel of the CPR Institute of Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Reavley holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is fluent in Spanish and currently divides his time between Austin, Texas, and Guanajuato, Mexico.
